Fireworks light up HCMC skyline as Vietnam marks 80th anniversaries of August Revolution and National Day
The event is organized by the HCMC Organizing Committee for the celebration of major holidays in collaboration with the HCMC Department of Culture and Sports. The program serves as a symphony of national pride, offering Vietnamese people an occasion to cherish the values of independence and freedom, uphold the legacy of their forefathers, and join hands in building a strong and prosperous nation.
HCMC – On the evening of September 2, thousands of residents and tourists flocked to Nguyen Hue pedestrian street to enjoy a special art program and a fireworks display marking the 80th anniversaries of the August Revolution and National Day (September 2).
To mark this year’s National Day, HCMC held fireworks displays at four sites, including three high-altitude locations at the Saigon River Tunnel entrance in An Khanh Ward, the new urban center in Binh Duong Ward, and the central square at Bai Sau Beach in Vung Tau Ward. A low-level display was staged at Dam Sen Park in Binh Thoi Ward.
