Generali Vietnam Life Insurance LLC on February 2 organized the “Tết Ấm Cho Em” (A Warmer Lunar New Year for Children), delivering warm clothes, financial support and New Year gifts to 300 disadvantaged children and families in Bac Ha District, Lao Cai Province.

Funding for the program comes from a series of innovative and practical fundraising activities organized by Generali Vietnam. In addition, many of Generali Vietnam’s staff and agents also participated in the blood donation drive, organized in January in collaboration with HCMC Hospital of Hematology and Blood Transfusion.

Volunteers from Generali Vietnam organized an outreach charity trip to visit and deliver gifts to 300 disadvantaged families of Hmong, Dao, Nung, Tay and Phu La ethnicities in Bac Ha District, Lao Cai Province. The program aims to share the burden with the children’s families so they can enjoy a warm, fulfilling and happy New Year. Each gift set includes cash, a warm jacket, necessities and a “Sinh Con, Sinh Cha” parenting booklet.

The program attracted the participation of many Generali Vietnam staff and agents via various innovative fundraising activities such as contributing their footsteps via the GenVita digital health ecosystem, donating charity auction items, cash and warm clothes, as well as volunteering to support at local events.

In addition to “Tết Ấm Cho Em”, many staff and agents of Generali Vietnam also participated in the annual blood donation drive jointly organized by the company and HCMC Hospital of Hematology and Blood Transfusion, contributing to the blood bank to support medical treatment and life-saving activities.

Ms Tina Nguyen, Generali Vietnam CEO, said: “At Generali, our community activities are organised regularly with a sustainable and practical approach to positively contribute to the society. These programs have always been wholeheartedly supported by our staff and agents. I am immensely proud of the spirit of philanthropy and the culture of giving that we have here at Generali.”
