On June 30, 2024, in Brussels (Belgium), Dr. Truong Vinh Long, Director of Gia An 115 Hospital, attended the award ceremony of the European Society for Quality Research (ESQR) and received an award honoring outstanding leadership. Gia An 115 Hospital is also the first hospital in Vietnam to be honored with this prestigious award.
The ESQR’s Best Quality Leadership Awards 2024 acknowledges exceptional leadership and innovative initiatives that drive quality improvement. The award ceremony took place on the evening of June 30, 2024 (local time) in Brussels, Belgium, and was attended by numerous business leaders from various countries, academic experts, quality specialists, and diplomats.
At the event, alongside leaders from various companies, organizations, and public administrative units from Europe, Asia, the Americas, Africa, and Australia, Dr. Truong Vinh Long, Director of Gia An 115 Hospital, represented the hospital’s Executive Board to receive the Best Quality Leadership Award 2024. This accolade recognizes Dr. Truong Vinh Long’s outstanding leadership and the Executive Board’s efforts in guiding Gia An 115 Hospital to remarkable development and continuous notable achievements.
Under the leadership of Dr. Truong Vinh Long and the Executive Board, Gia An 115 Hospital has achieved remarkable milestones. In its first year of operation in 2019, the hospital received the Excellence Award from the Asian Hospital Management Association (HMA). Gia An 115 Hospital became the first private hospital in Vietnam to be awarded the Gold Certification by the World Stroke Organization (WSO), and subsequently achieved the Platinum Certification from WSO in early 2024.
In addition, Gia An 115 Hospital was honored with the Healthcare Asia Awards 2023 in the category of Health and Wellness Initiative of the Year – Vietnam, recognizing its outstanding health initiatives.
In November 2023, Gia An 115 Hospital became one of the first two hospitals in Vietnam to receive accreditation from the AACI (Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care International) for quality and patient safety.
In addition to international accolades, Gia An 115 Hospital has also received numerous commendations and awards from local authorities and various departments.
Notably, within just over five years of operation, Gia An 115 Hospital has become known as a pioneer in applying advanced techniques in diagnosis and treatment. The hospital has successfully implemented numerous advanced procedures such as cardiovascular and cerebrovascular interventions, modern cancer treatments, laparoscopic surgery, minimally invasive interventions for liver, bile, and pancreatic diseases, minimally invasive spinal and orthopedic surgeries, among others.
Speaking at the award ceremony, Dr. Truong Vinh Long said that the hospital’s Executive Board and staff continuously strive to improve service quality and enhance treatment effectiveness to ensure a safe and compassionate healthcare environment for all.
