HCMC – HCMC will hold a ceremony on April 15 to honor 50 companies with outstanding brands and products as part of activities marking the 50th anniversary of the liberation of south Vietnam and the reunification of the nation.
The event, organized by HCMC’s Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front, will take place at 6 p.m. at the headquarters of the HCMC People’s Committee.
Organizers said the event aims to recognize the role of businesses in the city’s social and economic development and to promote innovation and international integration.
The recognition will include the official announcement of 50 enterprises that have demonstrated excellence in building strong brands and producing key products recognized by HCMC. City leaders will also present commemorative symbols marking the 50-year milestone since the reunification of the nation (April 30, 1975 – April 30, 2025) to the selected companies.
Earlier the same day, at 3 p.m., the city will host a business forum titled “the Journey of Building and Reaching New Heights”. The forum will bring together entrepreneurs and experts to discuss corporate contributions to sustainable development and strategies for enhancing HCMC’s position in the global economy.
HCMC is working toward becoming a global economic hub, with businesses expected to play a vital role in boosting competitiveness, attracting investment, and expanding international partnerships. This event will serve as a forum to gather insights from business leaders and experts in support of this vision.
The recognition ceremony is not only a tribute to achievements but also a call to action for the local business community to continue innovating and contributing to the sustainable development of both HCMC and the nation.
