HCMC – HCMC will release a new land price list on October 20, said Dang Quoc Toan, chief of the People’s Committee Office of HCMC at a meeting on October 17, reported the local media.
The city is finalizing procedures, with the the Steering Committee for the construction and adjustment of the land price set to meet on October 19 to approve the changes. The updated price list will replace Decision 02/2020, which currently governs land prices.
The Department of Natural Resources and Environment has proposed applying land price adjustment coefficient K to determine agricultural land prices to ensure production stability.
Landowners whose lands were reclaimed will be compensated at market rates. Land in the high-tech agricultural zones will be subject to special provisions to maintain agricultural production.
For commercial and non-agricultural land, prices will be set based on the economic conditions of each area.
