HCMC – HCMC will display fireworks in eight locations to ring in the Lunar New Year 2024, Bui Xuan Duc, head of the Ceremony and Event Division under the HCMC Department of Culture and Sports, said at a press conference on January 25.
As usual, fireworks will be displayed in the Saigon River Tunnel area in Thu Duc City and the Ben Duoc Memorial Temple area in Cu Chi District.
The other locations for fireworks shows are the Ben Noc Memorial Temple in Thu Duc City, Dam Sen Cultural Park in District 11, Rung Sac Square in Can Gio District, Lang Le Bau Co Historical Site in Binh Chanh District, Cultural Park in Go Vap District, and the Nga Ba Giong Historical Site in Hoc Mon District.
The firework shows will last 15 minutes each, starting at midnight on February 10, Lunar New Year’s Day.
In addition to the fireworks displays, the city will organize flower markets, Tet cake festivals, book fairs, and many other activities.
