HCMC – The government of HCMC is set to finalize a plan for establishing a one-stop public service center to streamline administrative procedures for residents and businesses.

HCMC Vice Chairman Vo Van Hoan mentioned the plan during a meeting yesterday, September 4, on HCMC’s August socio-economic performance.

The public service center will be a one-stop platform for public services, integrating operations from the grassroots to the municipal level. The project will be implemented in phases.

In the first phase, the center will feature one main system, including a central branch and 22 district-level branches. Additionally, there will be 24 reception points of departments and 312 reception points across communes, wards, and towns.

During the second phase, all reception locations will merge with the central branch, while the districts and Thu Duc City will have the flexibility to organize their own reception points as needed.

The city plans to implement the model and expects it to be operational by January 1, 2025.
