The ministry today also issued new guidelines on monitoring Covid patients under home-based care and treatment.
The ministry allowed people to confirm whether they are infected with Covid or not by taking a rapid test by themselves, instead of having to be tested by medical workers to get the confirmation of the test result.
Besides, Covid patients under home care and treatment were allowed to leave their home for essential reasons, provided that they wear face masks and keep a safe physical distance from each other to prevent the transmission.
