HCMC – Heineken Vietnam, in collaboration with the Vietnam Red Cross Society, has launched the “Heineken Cares – Joining Hands towards a Happy and Healthy Tet” program to extend support to underprivileged communities across the nation.

As part of Heineken Vietnam’s commitment to community welfare, the program aims to assist 5,300 individuals facing challenging circumstances in 42 localities nationwide, ensuring they can have a happy and healthy Tet celebration.

The company will provide complimentary medical check-ups and free medicines, and organize a Tet market where each participant will receive a voucher worth VND800,000 to select essential items for Tet festivities. Practical activities such as haircuts, calligraphy writing, crafting glutinous rice cakes for Tet, and providing Tet decoration items will be organized.

Alexander Koch, managing director of Heineken Vietnam, said, “Through the ‘Heineken Cares’ initiative in partnership with the Vietnam Red Cross Society, we aspire to ‘join hands towards a happy and healthy Tet,’ sharing renewed hope for a better year ahead with as many Vietnamese people as possible.”

This marks the second consecutive year of collaboration between Heineken Vietnam and the Vietnam Red Cross Society in organizing this program, with active participation from hundreds of Heineken Vietnam employees nationwide.

In its 32-year history, Heineken Vietnam has prioritized sustainability in its business operations, close community engagement, and the pursuit of “Brewing A Better Vietnam.” In 2023, the company was once again honored among the top three most sustainable businesses in Vietnam at the Corporate Sustainability Index (CSI) Ranking 2023 program, marking its eighth consecutive year of recognition.
