THUA THIEN-HUE – The government of Thua Thien-Hue Province has agreed to adjust a zoning plan to build an eco-resort, coastal urban area and golf complex in the province’s Vinh Xuan Commune of Phu Vang District.

Covering an area of some 173 hectares, the facility would be a premium eco-resort and golf complex along with other auxiliary services in terms of a hotel, a convention center and entertainment and wellness centers.

The Thua Thien-Hue Institute of Construction Planning will be in charge of implementing the zoning plan within nine months since the date it signs a contract with the consulting unit.

Earlier in October last year, the provincial government had worked with the FLC Group on the latter’s proposals to develop projects in this central province.

At the working session, FLC reported the business performance of its properties in Thua Thien-Hue, saying they were all resort complexes with various amenities.

An FLC representative proposed the provincial government allow adjustments to the zoning plan of the eco-resort and coastal urban area complex in Vinh Xuan as well as other projects of the Group.

In 2019, the province and FLC had signed a strategic cooperation deal under which FLC would study and develop multiple projects in the province, such as tourist attractions, seaside resorts, as well as support activities to promote local tourism and socioeconomic growth.
