Vietnam yesterday started the respect-paying ceremonies in the three places simultaneously as part of the two-day State funeral in honor of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong of the Communist Party of Vietnam’s Central Committee. The ceremonies last until 1 p.m. today.

A memorial service takes place at 1 p.m. today, followed by his burial at the Mai Dich Cemetery at 3 p.m. on the same day in Hanoi City.
