HCMC – A celebration of Hungarian gastronomy is set to take place in HCMC as part of the 75th anniversary of diplomatic ties between Hungary and Vietnam.
Hungarian Culinary Week, running from March 10 to 14, will offer diners a taste of the country’s rich culinary traditions, featuring signature dishes paired with renowned Hungarian wines.

Lehőcz Gábor, Consul General of Hungary in HCMC, highlighted the strong partnership between the two nations, built on decades of mutual trust and cooperation. He underscored the importance of cultural and economic collaboration, noting that Hungary aims to expand its presence in Vietnam through further cultural and trade initiatives.
Gábor expressed optimism that events like Hungary Week would strengthen connections between businesses and deepen the appreciation of Hungarian heritage in Vietnam.
Hungarian Culinary Week is now underway at Rex Hotel, Grand Saigon Hotel, Continental Saigon Hotel, and Vier Lounge—Bistro & Wines. It offers an authentic taste of Hungarian gastronomy with highlights such as Hungarikum Goulash Soup paired with Nier Egri Bikavér Wine, Cold Goose Liver Terrine, and Hungarian-style Ham Roulade drizzled with acacia honey.
