HCMC – Japanese Foreign Minister Toshimitsu Motegi today, October 15, said that Japan would present an additional 500,000 Covid-19 vaccine doses to Vietnam.
The donation announced today has taken Japan’s total vaccine donations to Vietnam so far to 4.08 million doses, mainly the AstraZeneca vaccine, according to the Japanese Embassy in Vietnam.
Japan is one of the largest donors of Covid-19 vaccines to Vietnam. Most recently, 400,000 AstraZeneca doses presented by Japan arrived at the Tan Son Nhat International Airport on September 25.
Japan has also been the third largest Covid-19 vaccine donor to the world so far.
