HCMC – Lam Dong Province has asked the Government for approval of its plan to expand the Lien Khuong International Airport to increase its annual capacity to five million passengers by 2030.

The Lien Khuong airport is located in Duc Trong District and is 28 kilometers away from Dalat, a popular destination in the country. The airport can currently handle A320s, A321 and can serve two million passengers per year.
It has one runway that is 3,250 meters long and 45 meters wide and a passenger terminal covering an area of 1,000 square meters. In 2019, before the Covid-19 pandemic broke out in the country, the airport operated 15 domestic and international air routes, serving 2.1 million passengers annually.
