HCMC – After three months of continuous hikes, the domestic retail prices of fuels were revised down at 4 p.m. today, October 2, according to an announcement jointly released by the ministries of Industry-Trade and Finance.
RON 95-III gasoline now sells for VND24,840 per liter, down by VND900, while E5 RON 92 bio-gasoline costs VND23,500 per liter, falling by VND690.
Diesel oil and kerosene prices remain unchanged at VND23,590 and VND23,810 per liter, respectively.
Heavy fuel oil is now capped at VND17,450 per kg, dropping by VND390.
During this fuel price adjustment, the two ministries decided not to impose a surcharge on all types of fuel. Local fuel traders can tap the fund at VND285 and VND109 for each liter of diesel and kerosene sold, respectively.
