Nearly 79 million voters nationwide on March 15 are casting ballots to elect deputies to the 16th National Assembly and members of People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026–2031 term.
Polling stations in HCMC were ready early this morning to receive voters exercising their civic rights and obligations.
For the 2026–2031 term, HCMC has nearly 9.7 million eligible voters. Of these, more than 7.6 million are voting for representatives at three levels, while over two million are voting at two levels. The city has established 5,065 polling stations.
In HCMC, 64 candidates are running for 38 seats in the National Assembly, while 208 candidates are contesting 125 seats in the municipal People’s Council.
