HCMC – The Nordic Chamber of Commerce (NordCham) and four Vietnamese-Nordic alumni associations will organize the annual “Work the Nordic Way” conference in HCMC on June 1, focusing on a diverse and inclusive workforce.

Aimed at promoting inclusive and sustainable business practices in Vietnam, the event will attract Nordic companies, diplomats and business leaders. At the event, speakers will share how promoting inclusion in the workplace can contribute to business success and socioeconomic growth.

The event will also feature a job fair and various workshops with some major Nordic companies, including Tetra Pak, Home Credit, Novo Nordisk, IKEA and Esoft, offering opportunities for Vietnamese job-seekers to connect with leading European enterprises in a range of sectors and industries.

Speaking of “Work the Nordic Way 2022”, Ann Måwe, Swedish Ambassador to Vietnam, said, “Nordic countries have been able to unlock greater innovation in business and create some of the world’s leading enterprises. I am delighted that NordCham is promoting the values in Vietnam’s diverse and inclusive workforce. I hope that Vietnamese job-seekers will take this chance to meet Nordic business leaders and see how Nordic corporate culture can kick-start their careers.”

Thue Quist Thomasen, chairman of NordCham, said, “The third annual ‘Work the Nordic Way’ conference will provide match-making opportunities for Vietnamese job-seekers and Nordic business leaders. As our chamber continues to grow, more Nordic companies are looking for engaged, enthusiastic staff who can help their business to thrive in Vietnam. In return, Vietnamese workers will have a chance to learn from the corporate culture of some of the world’s leading enterprises right here on their doorstep.”

The event is open to anyone interested in working for Nordic companies or learning about Nordic corporate culture. Registration is open now at the Work the Nordic Way site.
