Party Central Committee Office has new head

HCMC – Lieutenant General Nguyen Duy Ngoc, deputy minister of Public Security, has been picked as head of the Party Central Committee Office.

The decision on Nguyen Duy Ngoc’s appointment was announced by the Politburo this morning, June 3.

Nguyen Duy Ngoc, a 60-year-old native of Hung Yen Province, holds a Master’s degree in law. He is a member of the Party Central Committee in the 13th term.

Ngoc’s predecessor is Le Minh Hung, who is now head of the Organization Commission of the Party Central Committee.

The Ministry of Public Security currently has five deputy ministers: Tran Quoc To (who is in charge of the ministry), Luong Tam Quang, Le Quoc Hung, Le Van Tuyen, and Nguyen Van Long.

The post of Minister of Public Security has been left vacant since General To Lam was elected as State President on May 22.
