PM Chinh arrives in Seoul for South Korea visit

HCMC – Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and his spouse, along with a high-level government delegation of Vietnam, arrived at Seongnam Air Base in Seoul at 2:30 p.m. local time today, June 30, starting their four-day official visit to South Korea.

Welcoming the PM and his entourage at the airport were senior South Korean officials including Minister of SMEs and Startups Oh Young Joo, Ambassador to Vietnam Choi Yong Sam, Director of the Protocol Department Seo Won Sam, Director of the ASEAN Department Kim Dong Bae, and the Commander of Seongnam Air Base, reported the Vietnam News Agency.

The welcoming ceremony in honor of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, his spouse, and the Vietnamese delegation was held solemnly at Seongnam Air Base.

During the visit, which lasts until July 3, PM Chinh is expected to hold talks and meetings with senior South Korean leaders; attend the Business Forum, Tourism Promotion and Cultural Cooperation Forum, and the Vietnam-Korea Labor Forum; and hold discussions with leaders of South Korean businesses and with Korean intellectuals and scientists on semiconductors and artificial intelligence.
