SBT and KPMG in Vietnam celebrate Go-live of new Oracle Cloud ERP

The new IFRS-led Oracle Cloud ERP system will help SBT optimize the supply chain, enhance finance management according to international standards and boost the Company on the global adventures.

On 1 July 2021, Thanh Thanh Cong – Bien Hoa Joint Stock Company (TTC Sugar, SBT, the Company) and their partner KPMG in Vietnam celebrated the Go-live of Oracle Cloud ERP, the most advanced cloud solution of Oracle, together with thousands of online audiences.

This Go-live event is a milestone in the digital transformation journey of SBT, opening a new era of unified operation and highly effective management. With the new ERP system, SBT can optimize their supply chain, from the farm through the factory and to the end-user households. Moreover, this is the first Oracle implementation project in Vietnam adopting IFRS, which enables SBT to enhance the transparency and quality in financial reporting, comply with international standards and boost the Company’s strength to conquer foreign markets.

After 327 days of hard work despite the pandemic, the project team of more than 600 members cheered for the key moment – the Go-live – when Mr. Will Nguyen – Partner, Head of Technology Consulting, KPMG in Vietnam & Cambodia, hands over the system access card to Mr. Tran Pham Quang Khuong – Chief Information Officer, SBT to officially launch the new Oracle Cloud ERP system. This successful punctual Go-live will bring about positive changes for 22 business units of SBT across four countries Vietnam, Singapore, Laos and Cambodia. This milestone also marked SBT as the Leader of Change in the Smart Agriculture sector of Vietnam.
