HCMC – The Southern Fertilizer Joint Stock Company (HOSE: SFG) plans to submit a proposal for a 5% cash dividend and its 2026 business targets to shareholders at its annual general meeting scheduled for April 4 in Ho Chi Minh City.
The company targets total revenue of VND2.3 trillion in 2026, up 10% from 2025. Of this, revenue from sales of goods and services is expected to reach around VND2.3 trillion, while other income is projected at VND23 billion. Pre-tax profit is set at VND42 billion, up 4% from VND40.2 billion in 2025.
The targets are based on projected production and consumption of key fertilizer products in both domestic and export markets. In 2026, SFG plans to produce 101,000 tons of NPK fertilizer, down from 109,636 tons in 2025, while consumption is expected to rise 25% year-on-year to 101,000 tons. Production of superphosphate fertilizer is projected at 105,000 tons, unchanged from 2025, while consumption is targeted at 100,000 tons, up 29%.
Closing the trading session today, March 23, SFG shares fell 300 points, or 2.78%, to close at VND10,500, with 2,700 shares changing hands, valuing the company at around VND502.92 billion.
The VN-Index dropped 56.64 points, or 3.44%, to 1,591.17 points, with 317 decliners and 33 gainers. Trading volume exceeded 1.1 billion shares with a value of VND31.09 trillion, up 14.6% in volume but down 5.9% in value compared to the previous session. Block deals accounted for 117.3 million shares worth VND3.19 trillion.
The VN30-Index fell nearly 57 points, with 27 stocks declining and three others advancing. VNM rose 1.3%, SAB gained 0.7%, and LPB edged up 0.1%, while GVR, VIC, MWG and DGC hit their floor prices.
Sector-wise, healthcare equipment and services were the only group to post a gain, up 0.2%. Energy stocks declined the most, with PLX down 4.2%, GAS losing 1.8%, PVT falling 2.3%, and BSR dropping 7% to its floor price. Real estate stocks also fell sharply, with multiple tickers hitting their floor prices.
On the Hanoi Stock Exchange, the HNX-Index fell 5.92 points, or 2.43%, to 237.54 points, with 138 decliners and 23 gainers. Trading volume reached 96.2 million shares worth VND1.73 trillion, with an additional 10.5 million shares worth VND246 billion traded via put-through deals.
