HCMC – As many as 280,000 individuals nationwide have taken coronavirus tests to date, with Vietnam reporting no new Covid-19 cases this morning, May 25.
The Ministry of Health has allowed four more healthcare facilities to confirm Covid-19 cases, taking the total number to 62, Tuoi Tre newspaper reported.
Besides this, as many as 60 labs are able to test for Covid-19, the disease caused by the coronavirus.
Among the 280,000 individuals tested, 325 test results have come back positive for the virus.
The ministry also said that Vietnam has registered no new community infections for the past 39 days. Among the 325 confirmed cases, 267 patients have made a full recovery and been discharged from hospital.
Meanwhile, the 91st case, a British pilot, remains in critical condition and relies on an extracorporeal membrane oxygenation machine, according to HCMC-based Cho Ray Hospital.
