HCMC – South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol will be visiting Vietnam next week at the invitation of Vietnamese President Vo Van Thuong.
The Office of the South Korean President announced on Tuesday that President Yoon will be accompanied by senior executives of 205 South Korean businesses during his June 22-24 visit to Vietnam.
South Korea and Vietnam upgraded their bilateral relations to a “Comprehensive Strategic Partnership” in December 2022.
During that time, President Yoon emphasized the importance of cooperation in advanced technology to stabilize supply chains and tap into Vietnam’s reserves of rare earth minerals.
He also highlighted the significance of collaboration in finance, media, high technology, infrastructure and energy.
