HCMC – Tan Son Nhat International Airport in HCMC is expected to serve about 122,000 passengers per day during the upcoming Reunification Day and International Labor Day holiday, a 9% increase compared to regular days.
The airport will handle around 740 flights a day during the peak travel period from April 30 to May 1, up 10% from current daily schedules. The surge is driven primarily by increased domestic flights, reported the Vietnam News Agency.
The two busiest days are forecast to be May 2 and May 4, reaching 770 flights per day.
Domestic flights are expected to account for around 450 flights daily, while international services will contribute about 300. Passenger throughput is projected to reach 122,000 per day, a 9% rise versus normal operations.
