Following his re-election, NA Chairman Tran Thanh Man delivered an inaugural address, expressing profound gratitude to the voters and NA delegates for their continued trust. Outlining the roadmap for the 16th term, Man pledged to build a socialist state that is governed by the rule of law and that is truly of the people, by the people, and for the people.

He called for a fundamental shift in the legislative mindset, characterized by being cautious in method but drastic in action, to synchronize institutions for rapid and sustainable development.

A cornerstone of this new term will be the acceleration of digital transformation, including the integration of AI and advanced science to build a digital parliament that enhances operational efficiency and ensures that every policy decision is followed by immediate and effective implementation.

Beyond legislation, the chairman underscored the importance of strengthening oversight as a proactive tool to drive national progress, with a renewed focus on monitoring the execution of post-oversight recommendations. He also pledged to deepen parliamentary diplomacy to further elevate Vietnam’s standing in the international arena.
