HCMC – Unilever Vietnam, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health (MOH) and Dak Nong Province, organized the “Meeting in response to the National Hygiene Day to Improve People’s Health 2024” and the launch of the first “Green – Clean – Beautiful Healthcare Facility Contest.”
The meeting, held in Dak Nong on August 13, was attended by approximately 700 delegates, including leaders from the MOH, the Dak Nong People’s Committee, ministries and health departments.
This annual program aims to call on all levels of government, mass organizations, socio-political organizations, and the community to actively participate and closely coordinate in activities implementing the National Hygiene movement, contributing to disease prevention and enhancing public health.
Speaking at the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Lien Huong, Deputy Minister of Health, emphasized that implementing the National Hygiene Movemnt to Improve People’s Health is the responsibility of all levels, sectors, each unit, and every individual. She highlighted that ongoing campaigns supported by various organizations have led to significant progress in addressing urgent hygiene issues.
Nguyen Thi Bich Van, Unilever Vietnam’s head of country, said that the company is proud of its decade-long support for the National Hygiene Movement. She highlighted Unilever’s commitment to continuing its partnership with the MOH through the 2023-2028 “For a Healthy and Sustainable Vietnam” program, aiming to drive further advancements in hygiene and public health.
