HCMC – V-GREEN Global Charging Station Development Joint Stock Company (V-GREEN) has decided to launch electric vehicle (EV) charging station franchises in Vietnam, in line with the country’s shift towards green growth.

Similar to the EV charging stations owned by V-GREEN, the franchised stations will cater exclusively to owners of VinFast electric cars and bikes across the nation. By 2025, it is estimated that there will be 300,000 electric cars and one million electric bikes in Vietnam.

Franchisees will benefit from a shared revenue model, earning a fixed rate of VND750 for each 1kWh of electricity charged from V-GREEN for at least 10 years. Additionally, V-GREEN will provide comprehensive support, including technology management for operations and revenue, repair and maintenance services, and marketing efforts to attract customers to the charging stations.

To join V-GREEN’s green network, partners only need to invest in the facilities and infrastructure required for the operation of the charging stations.

V-GREEN, 90% owned by billionaire Pham Nhat Vuong, now has the largest EV charging station network in Vietnam, with plans to install 150,000 chargers across 63 cities and provinces nationwide.
