HCMC – The memorial service for Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong was held in Hanoi this afternoon, reported the Vietnam News Agency.
The memorial service took place at the National Funeral Hall at 5 Tran Thanh Tong Street, Hanoi at 1 p.m. on July 26.
Simultaneous ceremonies were organized at the Reunification Hall in HCMC and at his hometown in Dong Hoi Commune, Dong Anh District, Hanoi City.
His burial is scheduled at 3 p.m. on the same day at the Mai Dich Cemetery in Hanoi City.
