Vietnamese likely to have 9-day Lunar New Year holiday early next year

HCMC – The Ministry of Home Affairs has endorsed a proposal by the Ministry of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs for a nine-day holiday for the Lunar New Year (Tet) in early 2025.

The Tet holiday is planned from January 25 to February 2, 2025.

The 2025 Lunar New Year holiday proposal will be submitted to the prime minister for final approval.

For the Reunification Day on April 30 and International Labor Day on May 1 next year, the ministry has approved a five-day break lasting from April 30 to May 4, 2025.

A four-day holiday from August 30 to September 2, 2025 has been approved for National Day.
