HCMC – Vietnamese President Luong Cuong left Hanoi on the evening of November 8 to pay official visits to Chile and Peru, and attend the 2024 APEC Summit in Lima, Peru.
President Cuong’s Chile visit at the invitation of Chilean President Gabriel Boric Font will take place from November 9 to 12.
Following this, he will travel to Peru for an official visit and participation in APEC Summit Week from November 12 to 16 at the invitation of Peruvian President Dina Ercilia Boluarte Zegarra.
The trip aims to strengthen Vietnam’s ties with Chile and Peru, build political trust, and explore new areas of cooperation in Latin America, according to the Vietnam News Agency.
In Peru, Vietnam will engage actively in the APEC Summit, addressing regional and global economic issues. This participation underscores Vietnam’s commitment to regional economic integration and its dedication to fostering partnerships with other APEC economies.
