HCMC – China-based electric two-wheeler maker Yadea Vietnam has announced that its US$100-mil electric two-wheeler factory in the northern province of Bac Ninh will be inaugurated in March 1 alongside the debut of its electric scooter namely the Osta.
Located in the Tan Hung Industrial Park, the first phase of the factory represents a total investment of US$100 million, being modeled after Yadea’s “smart manufacturing base” concept. It is positioned as a pivotal link in company’s supply chain strategy for both Vietnam and the broader region.
The factory is expected to create thousands of jobs for the local workforce and contribute significantly to the sustainable development of the domestic electric two-wheeler industry. Through this investment, Yadea reaffirms its long-term commitment to Vietnam, focusing on core technology, manufacturing capacity, and local resource development to complete its electric vehicle ecosystem.
In addition, the company will introduce the Osta, its flagship electric scooter developed on the new smart production line in Bac Ninh. Positioned in the premium segment, the model targets urban consumers who demand high standards in aesthetics, technology, and safety.
