HCMC – Retail giant Aeon Vietnam opened its first compact General Merchandise Store (GMS) in the southern region, Aeon Binh Duong New City, at the SORA Gardens SC in Binh Duong Province today, July 28.
Covering 5,000 square meters, the Aeon Binh Duong New City supermarket is located on the ground floor of SORA Gardens Shopping Center, comprising two main areas: Delica – the dining area, and the supermarket.
Delica covers over 710 square meters and offers seating for 90 people. It is home to various restaurants serving a diverse range of Japanese, Korean and Thai dishes.
The supermarket area offers quality and convenient products for daily life, including fresh groceries, organic products, ready-to-eat and ready-to-cook processed items, frozen goods, and more.
Aeon Binh Duong New City is the first compact GMS supermarket of Aeon in the southern region and the second of its kind in the country, following the inauguration of Aeon The Nine in Hanoi last year.
Furusawa Yasuyuki, general director of Aeon Vietnam, said, “Aeon Vietnam decided to invest in Binh Duong New City due to its economic potential and significant population growth. We will continue to search for suitable locations in other provinces and cities to open new business locations.”
With the compact GMS supermarket model, Aeon Vietnam aims to improve the shopping experience of customers and provide urban residents with high-quality products and services in a more convenient way.
