HCMC — Fermob, a French industrial group specializing in outdoor space design and amenities, opened its new exclusive store in HCMC on September 21.
The Fermob outlet in Vietnam, similar to its store opened in Bangkok in 2017, is a licensed store established through cooperation with local partners.
This initiative aims to introduce Fermob’s design and quality to local consumers and professionals, including architects, interior designers, real estate investors, coffee shops, hotels, and restaurants.
The opening of the new outlet in Vietnam is the result of an adventure that began nine years ago, during Fermob’s first exploratory trip to the Southeast Asian country. With a population of more than 100 million people and remarkable economic dynamism, Vietnam offers exceptional potential for Fermob, the firm stated in an official statement.
Founded in France in the early 1900s, Fermob initially entered the market with its collections of wrought-iron furniture, gradually establishing a solid reputation across the country.
In 1989, the group experienced significant growth thanks to the acquisition of the historic Thoissey workshop by Bernard Reybier, the current CEO of Fermob.
Its development strategy is based on three fundamental pillars: promoting the French brand abroad, merging Fermob’s artisanal expertise with the bold concepts of renowned names in design, and constant innovation in an ever-changing market.
