HCMC – The prices of SJC-brand gold bars rose by VND400,000 to VND88.5 million per tael today, January 24, according to local media reports.
As of 9:30 a.m., SJC gold bars were being traded at VND86.5 million per tael for buying and VND88.5 million per tael for selling at DOJI, Saigon Jewelry Company, and Bao Tin Minh Chau.
This represents an increase of VND400,000 per tael in both buying and selling prices compared to the previous day’s closing rates, with a buy-sell spread of VND2 million per tael.
Similarly, Phu Quy Company listed gold bar prices at VND86.3 million per tael for buying and VND88.5 million per tael for selling, a VND100,000 per tael increase.
For gold rings, Bao Tin Minh Chau quoted plain round gold rings at VND86.6 million per tael for buying and VND88.45 million per tael for selling. This marks a rise of VND200,000 and VND400,000 per tael compared to the previous day, respectively.
Phu Quy Company reported gold ring prices of VND86.1 million per tael for buying and VND88.1 million per tael for selling, up by VND100,000 per tael on both sides.
