HCMC – Foreigners can now use e-visas for entry into or exit from the country at the Van Don International Airport in Quang Ninh Province.

The Government on April 27 decided to add the airport in the northern province to a list of airports allowing aliens to use e-visas, raising the total to nine airports, including Noi Bai, Tan Son Nhat, Cam Ranh, Danang, Cat Bi, Can Tho, Phu Quoc, Phu Bai and Van Don.

Besides these airports, aliens are allowed to use e-visas at 16 international border gates in Dien Bien, Quang Ninh, Lang Son, Lao Cai, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Kon Tum, Tay Ninh, An Giang and Kien Giang.

Traveling to Vietnam by sea, foreigners can use e-visas at 13 seaports such as Hon Gai, Cam Pha, Haiphong, Nghi Son, Vung Ang, Chan May, Danang, Nha Trang, Quy Nhon, Dung Quat, Vung Tau, HCMC and Duong Dong.
