HCMC – The Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV) has selected a contractor for package No. 4.7 of the Long Thanh International Airport project, which involves building and installing equipment for the aircraft parking area.
According to the decision signed by Vu The Phiet, ACV chairman, the package is part of phase one of the Long Thanh airport project.
The winning bidder is a consortium comprising the Aviation Construction Corporation (ACC), Truong Son Construction Corporation, Vietnam Import-Export and Construction Joint Stock Company, Vietnam Development Investment Construction Joint Stock Company, Cienco4 Group Joint Stock Company, and Six Four Seven Aeronautics Project Construction Joint Stock Company.
The consortium’s winning bid is VND6,267 billion, and the contract will be completed within 23 months, two months ahead of the original tender schedule.
Work on the passenger terminal is expected to be completed by 2025. Following that, the contractor will begin installing equipment for trial runs starting in early 2026, with the goal of putting the terminal into operation before August 31, 2026, and receiving the first commercial flight by September 2, 2026.
