HCMC – The Binh Dien flower market is set to open its doors at 6 p.m. on February 2 in the Binh Dien commercial area in District 8, HCMC, to cater to residents and tourists in preparation for the upcoming Lunar New Year 2024 (Tet) holiday.
This marks the 10th year that the Binh Dien flower market has graced HCMC with its presence, with flower growers from the Mekong Delta provinces bringing their blooms to add vibrancy and color to the city.
Visitors can expect a wide variety of flowers on display, including apricot blossoms, daisies, chrysanthemums, and sunflowers. New additions to the flower market this year include Korean chrysanthemums and dragon-shaped bonsai trees, which stand at an impressive 2.2 meters tall.
This year’s flower market is organized by Satra Group, and various businesses and Satra member companies, such as Satrafoods, COFIDEC, VISSAN, and Heineken Vietnam (under the Bia Viet brand), will be offering a range of food products, fruits, dried goods, and beverages to customers.
