Cat Loi beats 2025 profit plan, approves 15% cash dividend

HCMC – Cat Loi Joint Stock Company (HOSE: CLC) has reported 2025 earnings exceeding its annual target by more than 10% and announced a 15% cash dividend for the first installment of 2025.

The company said February 6 would be the record date for shareholders entitled to the interim cash dividend, equivalent to VND1,500 per share. With over 26.2 million shares outstanding, Cat Loi is expected to spend around VND39.3 billion on the payment. The ex-dividend date is February 5, while the dividend will be paid on March 6, 2026.

Under its 2025 business plan, Cat Loi targets revenue of VND3.76 trillion and after-tax profit of VND164.8 billion, with total dividend payments estimated at VND30–40 billion. In 2024, the company made two interim cash dividend payments with a combined payout ratio of 40%.

In its fourth-quarter 2025 financial report, Cat Loi posted revenue of VND1.11 trillion, up 13.84% year-on-year, while after-tax profit surged 92.66% to VND52.5 billion.

Closing the January 20 trading session, CLC shares ended unchanged at VND57,000, with 1,800 shares traded, giving the company a market capitalization of approximately VND1.49 trillion.

The VN-Index fell 2.81 points, or 0.15%, to 1,893.78 points, with 149 gainers and 180 losers. Trading volume exceeded 1.07 billion shares, worth VND37.05 trillion, down 7% in volume and 1% in value from the previous session. Put-through transactions accounted for over 90.5 million shares valued at VND4.08 trillion.

Blue-chip stocks remained the main highlight of the session. GVR, VNM and PLX all hit the ceiling at one point, though only PLX managed to maintain strong gains, closing up 6.1% at VND59,000.

On the downside, Vingroup-related stocks narrowed losses, with VRE leading declines within the VN30 basket but falling only 2.6% to VND31,150. VIC and VHM slipped around 1%.

On the Hanoi Stock Exchange, the HNX-Index lost 1.84 points, or 0.72%, to close at 253.11 points. The market recorded 69 gainers and 100 decliners, with trading volume of nearly 90 million shares valued at VND2.11 trillion. Put-through transactions contributed an additional 3.9 million shares worth VND53.3 billion.
