Running 42km daily in one year

A woman tries to run 42km a day within one year in the coastal city of Vung Tau. Le Thi Hang, 36, used to work in the tourism sector in Vung Tau City, Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province. Seeing her health worsening gradually, she began to practice yoga and was recommended to practice running. She began running early last year. Hang said initially she ran hundreds of meters a day, walking slowly at first and then faster, and then running slowly and faster. She could complete 3km running daily a short while later. Then she tried to finish up to 10km a day before raising it to 21km per day, and 42km per day eventually. Inspired by a British man who succeeded in raising funds after one year running marathon every day, she set her own target to run 42km daily till the end of this year. Hang told the Weekly that at the age of 36, she had to weigh all her decisions and choices prudently.
