HCMC – The Central Highlands province of Lam Dong has earmarked an additional VND3.76 trillion from its budget for the first phase of the Bao Loc-Lien Khuong Expressway project.
Of the newly allocated amount, over VND1.58 trillion comes from the retained budget revenue in the 2021-2025 period, while more than VND2.18 trillion will be sourced from the medium-term investment plan for 2026-2030, reported Vietnam News.
According to the Lam Dong Department of Transport, the 74-kilometer Bao Loc-Lien Khuong Expressway will connect Bao Loc City and the Lien Khuong-Prenn Expressway. The public-private partnership project is currently in the preparation stage for investment approval.
Earlier, the Lam Dong People’s Council approved the investment policy for the project which requires nearly VND19.5 trillion. Of this, around VND7.8 trillion will be sourced from the state budget, while the remaining amount will be raised from the private sector.
