Families in provinces like Ca Mau or Dong Nai — which are defined by rivers, canals, and fields — often live without access to safe, drinkable water. During the rainy season, they collect and store rainwater; in the dry months, they face saline intrusion and acid-contaminated wells. Cooking, washing, and even bathing become daily struggles.
Understanding this reality, Binh Minh Plastics launched its flagship CSR program, “Cherish the Source – Love the Future.” For years, this initiative has focused on solving one of the most urgent needs in rural Vietnam: access to clean water. By combining its technical expertise with a deep sense of social responsibility, the company has helped turn the dream of clean water into reality for thousands of households.
In 2024, the project brought safe water to provinces such as Phu Yen, Quang Nam, Vinh Long, and Lao Cai. Building on that success, 2025 saw the program expand southward to Ca Mau and Dong Nai, where water scarcity remains severe. In Ca Mau alone, Binh Minh Plastics donated more than 5,260 meters of HDPE pipes and fittings, valued at around VND560 million, to support local water infrastructure.
“People are overjoyed to finally have access to clean water,” said Nguyen Bra Xil, head of Xom Chua Hamlet in Ca Mau. “This is not just about daily life — clean water is crucial for farming, livestock, and even the local economy. It is a lifeline.”
Water that changes lives
In Dong Nai’s Bu Gia Map, a border district where households have long endured drought and water shortages, Binh Minh Plastics sponsored 34,560 meters of pipes to build a stable clean-water system for hundreds of families. Under the blazing sun, the moment water first flowed through the new pipelines became a symbol of transformation. Children ran joyfully around fresh water taps; adults watched in disbelief as they turned the valve and saw clear water streaming into their homes — something they had once thought impossible.
Beyond water, Binh Minh Plastics extended its generosity by building a charity house for a disadvantaged family, helping improve their living conditions and sense of dignity. These acts, though simple, reflect the heart of the “Cherish the Source – Love the Future” campaign — a long-term, compassionate journey to uplift communities.
As of the end of September 2025, Binh Minh Plastics had donated nearly 40,000 meters of high-quality pipes across Ca Mau and Dong Nai, with total support exceeding VND1 billion. Each project not only brought water but also restored hope — proving that meaningful change often begins with small, steady steps.

A festival of kindness
This same spirit of community came alive on October 5, 2025, when Binh Minh Plastics partnered with SCG Group, local authorities, and business allies to organize the “Green Mid-Autumn Festival” in Phu Nghia Commune, Dong Nai. The event celebrated the joy of childhood and the power of giving.
The company awarded 70 scholarships worth VND1 million each to outstanding students from low-income families and distributed 1,600 Mid-Autumn gift sets — including backpacks, mooncakes, lanterns, and school supplies — to children across the commune. The event’s total value reached VND750 million, with Binh Minh Plastics contributing VND600 million. For the children, it was more than a celebration; it was a reminder that they are seen, valued, and supported.
