HCMC – The domestic fuel retail prices have been revised up for the seventh straight time this year, according to an announcement jointly issued by the ministries of Industry-Trade and Finance at 3:00 p.m. today, June 21.
The bio-fuel E5 RON92 price rose by VND190 per liter to VND31,300, while the RON95 petrol price jumped by VND500 to VND32,870 per liter.
Kerosene and diesel oil are now priced at VND28,780 and VND30,010 per liter, up VND950 and VND990, respectively. Heavy fuel oil edged up VND380 per kilogram to VND20,730, the local media reported.
During this fuel price adjustment, the ministries decided not to impose surcharges on E5 RON92, RON95, diesel oil and kerosene to replenish the fuel price stabilization fund, while heavy fuel oil is subject to a surcharge of VND300 a kilo.
Local fuel traders can now tap the fund at VND400 for each liter of diesel oil and kerosene sold to customers to keep the prices from a steeper rise.
