HCMC – MediaTek announced a 49% market share in Vietnam’s mobile processor segment at the Vietnam Media Gathering 2024 held in HCMC on June 25.
The company attributed its success to strategic partnerships with local network operators like FPT, Viettel and VNPT, collaborating on projects ranging from Wi-Fi infrastructure to 5G deployment.
The achievement has solidified MediaTek’s strong position in the burgeoning Southeast Asian market, the firm said in a statement.
The the global mobile chipsets provider is also exploring closer partnerships with local firms and providing robust solutions for the growing electric vehicle market.
