New World Saigon Hotel celebrates 30th anniversary

New World Saigon Hotel has celebrated its 30th anniversary, showcasing its impressive progress over the past three decades with the motto “Born to Be New.”

Located just a few steps from Ben Thanh Market, this five-star hotel has emerged as a landmark of new beginnings and international connection since the 1990s, becoming an ideal destination for travelers, leaders, businesspeople, and celebrities from around the world.

Over the past 30 years, the hotel’s guest rooms have been renovated, the gym has been upgraded, and the pool area has been enhanced, particularly with the launch of the new outdoor event space, the Terrace. This area accommodates up to 350 guests and offers panoramic views of the pool and a herb garden.

“In just the past decade, we have had the honor of welcoming 2.3 million guests and serving 3.4 million people in our restaurants. Among them are business leaders, senior diplomats, and celebrities—truly remarkable figures to reflect on,” said Nicklas Wagner, general manager of New World Saigon Hotel.

For two consecutive years, the hotel has been recognized in the Top 10 Best City Hotels in Vietnam by Travel + Leisure magazine. Recently, New World Saigon received the UNESCO award for Top MICE Hotel, the “Green Hotel” award from HCMC in both 2023 and 2024, and the Premium Hotel title in Asia from Trip.Best 2024.

The hotel also demonstrates its commitment to the community by supporting educational projects for underprivileged children and enhancing environmental protection efforts. Since September 2023, the average waste diversion rate has increased from 22% to over 90%, representing a significant and sustainable change led by New World Saigon.
