HCMC – Authorities in Nha Trang City have issued a ban on pets at the city’s beaches, including walking them at seaside parks or allowing them to swim in the sea.
This decision, made by the central coastal city, has garnered support from many residents who believe it is necessary to ensure the safety of beachgoers and maintain a clean environment at the beaches.
Local residents have been advised not to bring their pets, including dogs and cats, to public areas without muzzles and leashes. This is especially true for locations where signs are posted indicating a ban on pets, such as seashore parks and beaches. Swimming with pets in the sea is also strictly prohibited.
The city has requested households to register their cats and dogs and commit to raising them within their own premises. Violators who walk their pets in prohibited areas will face high fines.
The relevant agencies in the city will continue to enforce regulations, including capturing dogs found without muzzles and leashes, conducting activities to prevent rabies, and monitoring rabies vaccinations in the local community.
