HCMC – Siemens recently held a ceremony in HCMC to commemorate its 30th anniversary since establishing a presence in Vietnam.
The event highlighted the company’s accomplishments in the country and expressed its appreciation to local partners over the past three decades.
Siemens aims to reaffirm its commitment to aiding Vietnam in enhancing smart infrastructure, expediting digital transformation, and advancing sustainability.
“We take pride in our substantial contributions to Vietnam’s urban infrastructure and socio-economic growth over the past three decades. We have transformed the everyday lives of millions of customers and partners, making them more competitive, profitable, and sustainable,” stated Matthias Rebellius, a member of the managing board of Siemens AG and CEO of Smart Infrastructure.
The global corporation has left significant marks on numerous vital infrastructure projects in Vietnam, encompassing energy, healthcare, manufacturing, buildings, water, and transportation.
Siemens has played a role in bolstering Vietnam’s energy sector, ensuring consistent energy supply through participation in diverse power projects ranging from fossil fuel to wind and solar, the firm said in a statement.
Particularly, power plants have integrated Siemens gas turbines, including the 740MW Phu My 3 Combined Cycle Power Plant (CCPP), 1,500MW Ca Mau 1&2 CCPP, and 750MW Nhon Trach 2 CCPP.
Furthermore, Siemens has introduced innovative solutions that enhance energy efficiency and sustainability in electricity generation, buildings, and plants.
