HCMC – A passenger bus collided with a semi-trailer truck on National Highway No. 6 in Son La Province on February 2, leaving six people dead and four others injured.
The crash occurred at around 11 p.m. in Sap Vat Commune, Yen Chau District, when a bus traveling from Son La to Hanoi collided with a semi-trailer truck in the opposite direction.
Following the incident, Son La Chairman Nguyen Dinh Viet and the local traffic safety committee arrived at the scene to assist affected families and oversee the emergency response.
Medical teams were dispatched to provide first aid for the injured, while traffic police worked to manage congestion and secure the site for investigation.
Authorities have provided financial support to the victims’ families and are continuing to determine the cause of the accident.
