HCMC – The Saigon Times and the LIN Center for Community Development have signed an agreement to jointly provide consultancy on corporate social responsibility (CSR) for organizations and individuals wanting to obtain an insight into CSR dimensions in Vietnam.
A special column will be arranged on The Saigon Times website – alongside the CSR section under The Saigon Times CSR 2022 – to provide readers with practical knowledge of CSR practices at businesses.
The column aims to help businesses understand the role of CSR and its values, highlight the significance of CSR and thus encourage more corporate contributions to the community.
The LIN Center takes pride in a strong pool of CSR experts who will field questions from readers and promptly give answers that will be published in this column. Special articles on the topic authored by experts will also appear in the column.
Experts will also share their knowledge of why CSR serves as an integral part of sustainable development, how CSR helps enhance the brand equity of enterprises and how CSR facilitates the building of corporate culture among others.
Under the agreement, both sides will also organize seminars to look into the various aspects of CSR to provide readers with updates on CSR practices conducted at enterprises, as well as opinions of experts and practitioners in the field.
The LIN Center is a Vietnamese nonprofit organization founded in 2009 under the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Association, with the mandate to strengthen and connect local nonprofit organizations (NPOs), skilled volunteers, and donors to engage in strategic and sustainable development in Vietnam.
Readers are advised to email their questions about CSR to The Saigon Times to saigontimes-csr@thesaigontimes.vn or nhkngan0406gmail.com.
