HCMC – The Vietnam International Arbitration Center (VIAC) and the Korean Chamber of Commerce (KoCham) in Vietnam have recently signed a cooperation agreement to support businesses on legal risk mitigation in trade and investment.
The partnership includes supportive mechanisms and diverse initiatives designed to enhance the legal capability of businesses operating in Vietnam.
VIAC and KoCham aimed to further strengthen the growing multifaceted cooperation between Vietnam and South Korea, especially in trade and investment.
The signing ceremony took place as part of the conference on business opportunities between the two countries, jointly held by VIAC and the Korean Commercial Arbitration Board yesterday, May 8.
The event was attended by nearly 150 representatives from local and international businesses, associations and law institutions.
According to experts, bolstering risk management and dispute resolution remains critical amid the ongoing economic challenges.
In Vietnam, VIAC serves as a leading arbitration and mediation service provider. The organization aims to foster the capacity of local enterprises over contractual issues, legal risks and dispute avoidance and resolution practices.
