HCMC – Twenty large Vietnamese travel and tourism companies projected a new image of the country post pandemic through a variety of products and services at the World Travel Market London 2022 from November 7 to 9,
This is the first major global travel and tourism event which Vietnam attended after a pause of more than two years due to the fourth wave of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The 250-square-meter Vietnam booth featured promotional activities, meetings with potential foreign partners and press conferences on the country’s tourism held by the tourism authority and travel companies.
The major tourist products offered at the event included sea, nature, culture, city, family, food, heathcare and golf tour programs.
A representative of Saigontourist, one of the participants in the event, said the event helped the company introduce its products to customers in Europe and explore new business opportunities and development trends.
According to the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, the country has attracted over two million foreign visitors during the first 10 months, with Europe being one of Vietnam’s major source markets.
